Spreckles lime pile has Burrowing Owls, Swainson Hawks, Red Hawks, Giant Garter Snakes, Foxes, Wild Cats, Pheasants & Owls
Unfortunately as they bulldoze the lime pile that is grown over with native grasses etc... it will destroy the habitat for the wildlife. The giant gopher snakes use the culvert and lime ponds. They winter in sites along the pond in the lime. They are no match for the bull dozers. Hawks live in trees growing on the lime hill, foxes burrow in the side of the hill. Burrowing Owls are Living in Sky Rise Apartments One the top of the lime.

Bull Dozers Tearing Our Habitat as quick as they can. The owners had an environmental firm Wallace/Kuhl out
on Jan 5th 3008. They told me about the elderberry bushes on the lime hill. They are large and there are many.
On Jan 10, 2008 the owners bulldozed right in this area, potentially destroying the trees and birds. The birds
lived along the top.
